GEN Z ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCATE & DEMOCRATIC
CANDIDATE FOR U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Rock Aboujaoude Jr. is a 27-year-old candidate for U.S. Congress dedicated to facing the most critical challenges of our time, from structural inequality to climate change. Born and raised on a farm in Southwest Florida, Rock's connection to the land shaped his commitment to preserve the environment and protect our communities, which have a right to enjoy Florida's natural landscapes and cultural heritage.
Rock's Bachelors in Economics and Master’s in Interdisciplinary Ecology with a specialty in climate science from the University of Florida have equipped Rock with the understanding and skills necessary to help Florida can implement sustainable agricultural practices to stimulate the economy and combat climate issues at both state and global levels. Rock's attendance at nearly all major United Nations COP conferences since 2015's Paris meeting has deepened his understanding of international environmental diplomacy. In addition to Rock's expertise in Carbon Farming legislation, Rock's work with non-profits and role as Senior Environmental Analyst for the Florida Senate in 2020 positions Rock to effectively influence policy-making.
Rock's 'Climate Campaign,' is focused on community engagement and making Florida a leader in climate resilience and adaptation. By leveraging local initiatives and global insights, Rock is committed to crafting policies that promote environmental sustainability, create jobs, and provide economic vitality for all Floridians.

ROCK'S democratic PRIORITIES
STOP PROJECT 2025Project 2025 is a very real threat. Radical Right-Wing politicians are trying to gut pubic infrastructure and vital government agencies, like the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) & the Department of Education, and replace traditional government functions with for-profit private ownership. We must STOP the anti-science, anti-worker Project 2025, uphold the US Constitution, and PRESERVE our Democracy.

PROTECT SOCIAL SECURITYIn 2024, 80% of Republican U.S. Congressmen, including my Republican opponent Gus Billirakis, voted to CUT Social Security benefits and raise the retirement age! Those elitist, right-wing politicians are anti-worker but pro-billionaire. Their votes are unacceptable when so many Americans rely on Social Security and Medicare to meet everyday needs. I will fight to PROTECT Social Security and Medicare!
